Rabanal el Camino.....

Got some sad news this morning...my aunt from Melbourne died....she has been sick for quite a long time & it was expected....but still sad to hear when you are so far from home....of course all the family will know this news.
21 kms today....beautiful scenery...as the books say it is once again 3 dimensional...lots of hills which tomorrow will turn into mountains. We walked into a very icy head wind all 5 hours....thank goodness it was not raining....the sun was shining even though it had virtually no heat.
Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for....we will come to the iron cross where we will leave our stones from home...I am expecting this to be quite poignant.
Hope all are having a good weekend....last nights pizza was yum!!!!
Mum have said a prayer for Rosalie in the local church....sorry can´t remember the name of it.
Thinking of you all....love to you

Hi Pilgrams
Tina,Sorry to hear about your Aunty, maybe you could dedicate
the next section of the walk to her.It is 5.000pm Sun ,just got home from Mt Tamborine, had a great weekend, a bit cool and very windy up there, There was a Irish band at the party Sat night so it was a lot of fun.came back to a log fire and a nice port at the B&B. Hope the coming mountains are not to hard but sounds like you would handle it ok anyway.
Keep up the good work
Love Ron & Di

Yes, you are still being followed.
Like you I've been doing 17 to 21. But yours are kilometres.
No different news from us here. Same stuff, different day.
Getting cooler now. Expecting 6-7c in the mornings.
Off to another specialist Wed to get a second opinion and hopefully get progress. Soldier on. Very proud of you.

Well I'm still reading...busy last week so just a quick read then off. All ok here. Good to hear about the changing countryside etc...so much more enjoyable when not in pain I'm sure. Really looking forward to the photos eventually too. I'm off to tuckshop now so don't be too jealous of my exciting life..!

Sorry a bit slow ....although expected ,somehow it hit me like a rock, which I didn't expect it to do.Even started to cry in mass...silly old moo. Flying thursday, funeral friday and back saturday. Expecting to catch up with Emmeline, which will be good to see her again. Can't think too well.. will get back later. Once you get rid of those rocks you will start to "run" up those mts, as you said, it will be a momentus occasion.. hope you take pics of placing. Much love Keep enjoying.
